Position: Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Consultant
Where: Frankfurt/Main, Germany

In order to strengthen our team in Frankfurt, we are recruiting a Data Warehouse (DW) and Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant (m/w).
Ideally, you have corresponding consulting experience in DW/IB in the financial sector. You have a solid understanding of analysis, design and development of a Data Warehouse and are able to act in a leading way while realizing projects. You are experienced in Data and ETL architecture as well as ETL design and development or are well schooled in information delivery design and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- You work as a part of the Adastra consulting team and support the realization of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects which can comprise the following points partially or fully:
- Specification analysis
- Design of system architecture
- Design of Data architecture
- Creation of logical and physical Data models including Metadata
- Data and source system analysis
- Making of specifications source-aim-classification
- Conceptional design of ETL architecture
- Development of ETL processes and its quality control
- Data access and its quality control
- You represent Adastra working within a larger team which is connected with different departments of our customers in order to provide a closed and consistent solution
- You coordinate the project management with our customers in order to grant the compliance of the project demands as well as budget and time limits
- You cooperate in starting the project, supporting the management team in order to identify the responsibilities demanded by the project
- In order to be able to lead and coordinate the estimated time and effort of new projects, we expect:
- IT-specific experiences in the field of Data Warehousing
- Excellent communication skills (English/German) in spoken and written form
- The ability to explain complicated circumstances clearly to a technical as well as non-technical audience throughout all company levels
- Experience with relational databases (IBM DB2 preferred), Informatica and/or Business Objects
- Experience in the field of customer acquisition and customer support (advantageous)
- University degree in the area of Information Technology or a related discipline
